Sand Dunes is the kind of relaxed, unpretentious spot that ends up on everyone's weekly rotation during a longer stay. Positioned close to the beach, it is a natural stop after a morning swim at St Francis Bay Main Beach, or a late-afternoon meal before heading back to the cottage.
The food is straightforward and consistent. You are not going for a special occasion dinner but for something reliable, easygoing and suitable for the whole family. The casual atmosphere makes it comfortable for children, and the proximity to the beach means sandy feet are entirely expected.
In summer it can be busy over the lunch hour. A good default when you want to eat well without making an event of it.
Practical Close to the main beach area. Families welcome. Busier over the December school holidays and at peak lunch hours.
